The Peacekeeping Training Program Unit (PTPU) contributes to the international community’s efforts towards the peaceful resolution of conflicts and the building of lasting peace. Recognizing that peace is a prerequisite for the achievement of the Agenda 2030 Sustainable Development Goals, the Peacekeeping Training Program Unit supports the development of capacities in the areas of peacekeeping, peacebuilding and crisis management. Through innovative and results-oriented approaches, the Program Unit strengthens knowledge and skills of individuals, groups or institutions.
The individual contractor will support the program unit and the Division for Peace Office in Bonn with drafting and research, project development and monitoring in relation to capacity building in the areas of peacekeeping and peacebuilding.
Timely and quality submission of the deliverables; activities implemented with a high degree of effectiveness and efficiency, demonstrating a high degree of professionalism of the Individual Contractor and contributing to an increase in the professional image of the Institute.
