Background

Under the supervision of the Office Manager, the intern will provide administrative support to Zagreb RO staff in order to ensure an effective and efficient operation of the office.

Accountabilities and Responsibilities

This may include but is not limited to:

  • Administrative and analytical support.
  • Scanning, copying and sending documents.
  • Maintaining the archives and filing.
  • Data gathering, research and translation.
  • Arranging transportation for the EBRD visitors on request.
  • Screening incoming telephone calls (internal and external) and forwarding calls to appropriate personnel or department or delivering messages when appropriate personnel are unavailable;

Knowledge, Skills, Experience and Qualifications

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Croatian.
  • Good interpersonal skills;
  • Ability to work well within a team
  • Multilingual – English plus Croatian
  • Ability to work on one’s own initiative and take responsibility where necessary while also working as part of the team.

Education/Experience required:

  • Relevant degree from a leading university in the country of education
  • Computer literacy
