Background
The Bank has embarked upon a journey of modernisation and digitalisation of the operations of the Client Services Group, across Banking and Policy & Partnerships activities. Assisted by a Multi-Year Investment Programme overseen by the Transformation Office, the goals are to future proof the Bank’s operational processes and technology.
The responsibility of the CSG Product Team is to (re-)design / streamline end-to-end business processes and deliver systems that are fit for purpose for CSG’s activities, providing an improved user experience through a number of integrated applications, with Monarch being the central core platform for all pre-signing and post-signing investment and donor financed TC activities.
The Product Owner Team is part of the Client Services Group to ensure full business ownership and alignment with business needs.
This important function requires strong support and engagement from each area of CSG, with dedicated representation from the business, as well as from CTO colleagues, in order to shape the vision, facilitate change and ensure adoption. Key to the role is the ability to make decisions from an “organisation perspective” – that is on what is best for the organisation as a whole instead of merely desirable for a particular business area.
