Purpose of the Job
Under the supervision of engineers/Associates/Principles in the team, the intern will support the banking transaction related process in:
- Data gathering, research, analysis and provide background information into companies, sectors, sub-sectors, Frameworks and countries.
- Administrative and analytical support in specific areas of project delivery and monitoring, including tracking pipelines.
- Co-ordinating external public consultation events
- Production of reports required during the project cycle and liaison with other Bank’s internal departments including but not limited to Climate Strategy & Delivery, Policy Strategy & Delivery Units, Environmental and Social Department, Procurement etc.
- Drafting specific assigned portions of EBRD documents, standard presentations and case studies, briefing notes, SIG monthly newsletter and correspondence.
- Attending meetings with engineers, sector specialists, green cities team and bankers where appropriate.
- Assist in the Team’s Technical Co-operation Projects.
Knowledge, Skills, Experience and Qualifications
- Proven analytical skills
- Numerical skills
- Reasoning skills – ability to objectively collect, collate and interpret from different information sources
- Ability to work well within a team and independently
- Very good written (report writing, correspondence) and verbal communication skills in English
Education/Experience required:
- good relevant degree from a leading university in the country of education ( engineering/technical, economics, finance or business,)
- computer literacy
- some relevant commercial experience
- experience of events management and/or stakeholder engagement
- experience in other IFIs and donor experience is a plus
