Through our internship program, we aim to bring new, innovative ideas into the Alliance. You will get a first-hand look at the inner workings of an international tech organization, while adding valuable skills and experience to your CV.

About the Program

We offer internships lasting between 3 and 10 months. Our internship opportunities may commence at any point during the calendar year.

Before starting your internship with us, you will have to obtain a security clearance thus we remain flexible on potential start dates. Our helpful security teams will support you with this clearance process.

During this program you will join and support different teams and simultaneously learn from our business experts via on-the-job training and shadowing.

About the Internship

Internship duration:  6 months

Location: Brussels, Belgium

The NCI Academy has been created by the NCIA to deliver high quality, certifiable and modern vocational training on systems and services utilized within NATO. The NCI Academy is led from its flagship training delivery location in Oeiras (Portugal) and supported by staff and capabilities in The Hague (The Netherlands), Brussels and Mons (Belgium). The NCI Academy is responsible for providing world-class C4ISR, Cyber, Command and Control and Enterprise training and education services, across the NATO enterprise.

During your internship as the Intern – Customer-oriented Marketing Developer, you will cultivate the Customer Experience by:

  • Contributing to the customer digital facing UX
  • Building and maintaining the Customer onboarding process, including conducting onboarding meetings, curating customer on-boarding training materials and guides, crafting on-boarding emails, videos and welcome kits
  • Monitoring customer relationship meetings (format, frequency, agenda, key messages) and customer perceived values
  • Standardizing client facing materials, including metrics and reporting
  • Contributing to the creation and improvement of business processes, structure, and best practices from a customer perspective
  • Training staff involved in all aspects of the sales process

Who you are:

  • A recent graduate or current student in a graduate or undergraduate school program in a business related study
  • Have some experience or education in customer-oriented marketing strategy
  • Have experience working with Adobe Suite
  • Though not required, some experience in project management and Agile methodologies

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible to apply to our internship program, you will need to meet the following criteria:

  • You are a national of a NATO member country
  • You are currently studying towards a university-level degree or have recently graduated in the past 12 months
  • You have strong communication skills in English, both written and oral

We also request that you please attach the following documents to your application form:

  • Copy of the university degree you have completed and/or
  • Proof of ongoing studies with the dates clearly mentioned if you are still studying

Compensation

You will be compensated at a fixed taxable rate of 1,235.27 EUR per month, based on 38 hours of work per week and for travel expenses.
