About the Program
We offer internships lasting between 3 and 10 months. Our internship opportunities may commence at any point during the calendar year.
Before starting your internship with us, you will have to obtain a security clearance thus we remain flexible on potential start dates. Our helpful security teams will support you with this clearance process.
During this program you will join and support different teams and simultaneously learn from our business experts via on-the-job training and shadowing.
About the Internship

The Chief Operating Office (COO) is accountable for aligning demand and supply to create customer value, by leading business planning, prioritizing incoming requests, leading through-life cycle business development, overseeing resource allocation to projects and services, and directing data-driven performance improvements. We also keep the NCIA Portfolio, Programme, Project and Services Management (P3SM) Framework updated and ensure compliance, supporting full life-cycle support for Service Delivery and continual improvement, supervising compliance with NCIA processes, and promoting a collaborative environment for effective and efficient business operations.
As an Intern – IT Service Management and Control, you will the Branch Chief of the Service Management and Control group, you will work alongside two main areas:
Firstly, the Change, Configuration and Release & Deployment Managers within the Change and Configuration Authority (CCA) supporting the lifecycle planning, control and management of Information Technology (IT) changes across NATO. CCA supports the Branch Chief by delivering network protection through patching; enabling standardized, repeatable ways of working across the NATO Enterprise. CCA ensures consistency via Configuration Management, maintaining and approving authorized software for the networks. CCA is responsible for creating technology stability and discipline.
And secondly, the Monitoring, Analysis and Reporting (MAR) Section where you will work closely with Service Level Managers and Data Analysts that support the Branch Chief by collecting, storing and processing the authoritative data for the NCIA and its customers, including Exercises and Operations. MAR provides real-time monitoring of NATO network system availability, transforming raw data into information, knowledge and wisdom; providing robust, lifecycle measurement and reporting for internal and external customers. MAR drives Continual Service Improvements through reporting and feedback to stakeholders and translates agreed Service Level Targets into the IT Service Management architecture.

Compensation
You will be compensated at a fixed taxable rate of 1,235.27 EUR per month, based on 38 hours of work per week and for travel expenses.
