Job description
The German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) is funding a project through its Develop Public Private Partnership develoPPP program. The project, implemented by Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ), partners with Ornate Agencies Private Limited (Hereafter referred to as Ornate Solar) to facilitate the widespread adoption of BIPV and RIPV in India.
The project aims to achieve this by:
1. Generating accessible scientific knowledge on the technical performance, economic viability, and environmental benefits of BIPV and RIPV in the Indian context.
2. Implementing comprehensive skill development programs to build a skilled workforce for these technologies.
3. Introducing supportive policy reforms and a regulatory framework through evidence-based advocacy.
Your tasks
- Establishing partnerships with European companies on the topic of BIPV
- Writing report for dPPP headquater team and knowledge management
- Supporting team in monitoring the international consultant for delivering of tasks as per ToR
- Coordinating with dPPP partner in India
Your profile
- University degree in the field of energy, energy economics, sustainable energy, energy planning, environment, sustainable economic development
- Relevant knowledge of the energy sector and interest on the topic of renewable energy
- Profound ability to communicate complex relationships orally and in writing in an understandable and convincing way
- Business fluent in German and English
Desirable:
- Practice-oriented and strategic thinking as well as the ability and enjoyment of successful cooperation with different target groups and in international teams
- Negotiation skills, diplomacy, high level of commitment, frustration tolerance, ability to work independently, ability to work under pressure
