About the Program

We offer internships lasting between 3 and 10 months. Our internship opportunities may commence at any point during the calendar year.

Before starting your internship with us, you will have to obtain a security clearance thus we remain flexible on potential start dates. Our helpful security teams will support you with this clearance process.

During this program you will join and support different teams and simultaneously learn from our business experts via on-the-job training and shadowing.

About the Internship

Internship duration: 6 months

Location: Braine l’Alleud, Belgium

The NATO Infrastructure Services Center (NISC) provides fundamental Information Technology (IT) services to the NCIA, NATO and other customers.

The NISC IT services cover network transmission, infrastructure storage and processing, platform services, communication and collaboration hosting, enterprise configuration and asset management.

To support the provision of these services, NISC also delivers project management, scientific expertise and Communication Information Systems (CIS) Security.

As an Intern – Service Delivery Analyst, you will support:

  • Set up of required service monitoring toolsets
  • Communicate our service delivery KPIs to NCIA customers
  • Improve our automated reporting datasets
  • Improve of analysis capabilities for identified services, based on existing toolsets

Who you are:

  • A recent graduate or current student in a graduate or undergraduate school program in telecommunication, computer science or other IT related field
  • Knowledge of network management and reporting toolsets (e.g. CA Spectrum, NGenios or other Network service reporting toolsets)
  • Strong communication skills for engaging and gaining support from customers and internal/external stakeholders.
  • Strong Microsoft office skills: Excel, PowerPoint, Word
  • Language skills: English both written and conversational
  • Knowledge of business management and reporting would be a nice to have

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible to apply to our internship program, you will need to meet the following criteria:

  • You are a national of a NATO member country
  • You are currently studying towards a university-level degree or have recently graduated in the past 12 months
  • You have strong communication skills in English, both written and oral

We also request that you please attach the following documents to your application form:

  • Copy of the university degree you have completed and/or
  • Proof of ongoing studies with the dates clearly mentioned if you are still studying

Compensation

You will be compensated at a fixed taxable rate of 1,235.27 EUR per month, based on 38 hours of work per week and for travel expenses.
