Position Title: Senior Global Talent Acquisition Lead Location: US Remote Department: People and Culture Reports to: Director, Global Talent Acquisition
POSITION SUMMARY
Position Overview: The Senior Global Talent Acquisition Lead focuses on full cycle recruitment in Corporate and US Based roles and partners closely with the different stakeholders including Business Unit Leadership, technical teams, and project teams. The role supports with recruitment for new business proposals, key personnel backfill for projects, and supports acting recruiters with various non-key roles. The role requires experience with International Development and at least some of the sectors Winrock is focused on including agriculture, market systems, human rights and counter trafficking, education, child labor, climate smart agriculture, climate change and environment, or natural resource management. From working with counter-trafficking programming to climate resilience projects, the Senior Global Talent Acquisition Lead will have a hands on role working with the project teams on a day to day basis at Winrock. This role may be based anywhere in the contiguous US, but will be required to work EST/CT hours. DC area candidates preferred.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Support and lead full, life-cycle recruitment of candidates for Winrock’s corporate, US Based, and long term international project positions, including screening applicants for posted positions, managing process of sharing candidates’ qualifications/CVs with proposal teams and technical units for review, communicating and managing relationships with candidates during the capture and full cycle proposal recruitment process. Use innovative sourcing methodologies, to meet current and anticipated staffing needs, build a pipeline for future roles, using traditional and online advertising, and professional networks. Deliver full-life cycle recruiting including candidate rosters, multiple sourcing strategies, phone screen and interview candidates, facilitate Winrock review and approval process, conduct reference and other background checks, and finalize offers as assigned to meet target metrics. Develop and maintain a collaborative relationship with key stakeholders internally and externally including regional HR teams, senior leadership team, business unit leaders, hiring managers at all levels, country program staff, Business Development Unit team members. Implement Talent Acquisition department systems and processes, templates, document and participate in training to global Winrock staff. Provide support as needed to field offices and international hiring managers to ensure recruitment process compliance, provide guidance on hiring and sourcing for candidates, train staff on ATS usage. Research and recommend new sources for active and passive candidate recruiting. Preparation of various recruitment documents such as recruitment calendar, staffing budgets, candidate/position tracker, salary justifications, skills matrices, and proposal personnel sections.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience. Masters degree preferred. Experience: 7+ years of recruiting experience; demonstrated success in leading recruitment/talent acquisition in a global context with multiple stakeholders in remote locations. Previous experience leading recruitments for international development organization is required; Demonstrated experience working with US Government funded projects is required, USAID experience required Demonstrated experience and ability to implement and improve recruitment strategies and systems. Proven experience in recruiting senior level positions is required. Strong project management and organizational skills as well as interpersonal skills are necessary Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems, job boards, xray and Boolean searches to attract talent; (i.e., Greenhouse, DevEx, DevAid, LinkedIn, Google) Substantial presentation and communication skills; ability to convey information effectively; solid experience providing training and staff development is a plus Proven sense of professional discretion, integrity, and ability to manage situations diplomatically and to effective resolution. Exposure to interviewing techniques, knowledge of personnel policy and procedure and federal and state laws regarding employment. Required Travel: Some domestic or international travel may be required. The salary range for this position is between $97,000 and $125,000 which depends on both location and experience This position is not eligible for sponsorship, candidates must have full authorization to work in the United States.
