International Senior Finance Business Partner
Job Location: UK Flexible (Remote)
Salary: £70,000 based on 35 hours per week
Contract Type: Permanent, National Staff

Join us as the International Senior Finance Business Partner, where your pivotal role will involve steering financial performance and influencing strategic decisions across our global operations.

A day in the life of a Senior Finance Business Partner will involve:

Making recommendations that have a significant impact on the business over the short and long term.
Develop and propose annual business plans for a given area or department, ensuring alignment with strategy.
Recommend budgets, propose targets and schedule key activities and projects.
Translate business objectives into clearly defined business cases, costs, and schedules to support growth in the business.
Develop straightforward business cases to quantify current costs, justify project investment, and identify the return on investment.
Analyse incoming documents and evaluate complex elements of bids/requests for proposal/tenders to support the evaluation process
Perform complex statistical analysis and utilize mining, modeling, and testing techniques to enable data analysis.

To be a successful Senior Finance Business Partner, you’ll need:

Detailed knowledge of the global humanitarian environment
Highly computer literate
Ability to use compelling storytelling influence stakeholders
Using data to derive insight and decision making
Leading and developing a highly skilled professional team to consistently achieve high performance.
Explaining complex financial issues to non-finance individuals
Knowledge of working with computerised financial systems (e.g. Anaplan and Agresso) and Microsoft suite (desirable)
Previous experience of financial management in a charity environment.(desirable)
Managing and delivering change, specifically enhancing financial budgeting and forecasting processes.(desirable)
Working within a complex finance function.(desirable)
Forming business partnering relationships across multiple teams and manage a variety of stakeholders’ requirements.(desirable)
