(a) Day to day assistance to the TSU, including coordination with activity partners;
(b) Provide support to the Network work plan. Activities will be chosen based on candidate’s interests and competency;
(c) Contribute to project deliverables, progress milestones, planning and reporting;
(d) Support the preparation and, organization of Network and partner meetings;
(e) Provide assistance to GHHINs heat-health related communication, digests and ensure websites are maintained up to date;
(f) Carry out other relevant duties as required.

QUALIFICATIONS
Education
Students or graduates of public health, environmental science, meteorology, engineering, or a closely related field relevant to climate and health applications.
Experience
No working experience is required, but any experience in project or programme management in public health, disaster management, humanitarian programmes or research or policy engagement will be an advantage.
Other requirements
Interest in public health, climate change, adaptation strategies, heat and health and stakeholder management. Knowledge of early warning systems, and the production and application of climate and related weather, water and environmental information and services in the health sector is valued. Ability to write reports, documents and correspondence as well as ability to plan, organize and manage the work with minimum supervision are valued as well. Maturity of judgement, initiative and creativity. Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills. Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications. Ability to work in a multicultural environment and to foster diversity and team spirit.
Languages
Excellent knowledge of English (both oral and written). Knowledge of other official languages of the Organization would be an advantage.
