Under the supervision of the Head of Technical Coordination and GFCS Unit of the Services Department the intern will:
– Identify and compile studies already carried out under extrabudgetary projects.
– Establish a tool for monitoring SEB studies in progress and those planned, establishing search and analysis categories.
– Generate a list of partners, consultants and agencies developing these studies in association with WMO.
– Compile the methodologies used and generate recommendations.
– Assist projects that have SEB studies planned in the development of concept notes and assist in the provision of background information for each proposal.
– Compile ToRs developed in previous SEB studies and assist in the drafting of ToRs.
– Assist in the development of a common approach between SEB studies in extrabudgetary projects.
– Assist in the development of SEB workplans and map of partners.
QUALIFICATIONS | ||
Education University degree in political sciences, international relations, economics, finance, administration, or other relevant field related to the subject of matter. |

Experience Applicants are not required to have professional work experience for participation in the internship programme. |
||
Other requirements Proficient knowledge and experience of Microsoft Office. |
||
Languages Excellent knowledge of English and/or other WMO official languages. Knowledge of French would be an advantage. (Note: The official languages of the Organization are Arabic, Chinese, English, French, Russian and Spanish.) |
