Develop new material inclusive of writing articles, tweeting and populating other relevant social media platform to promote CREWS;
Monitor CREWS presence in the media and keep track of articles written about CREWS related events;
Create videos and communication material for the launch of CREWS products and briefing events;
Migrate website content.
QUALIFICATIONS | ||
Education Bachelor in Communication, Media, Public Relations or related field. |

Experience Experience in writing, editing and producing materials for website and social media platforms; Experience with content management systems and tools (web, print and social media content development). |
||
Other requirements Web, print and social media content development – strong English writing, communications and research skills; Media, social media and website monitoring; Skill with Adobe tools – InDesign, Premiere, Photoshop – or Powtoon (animation).
Autonomously and self-motivated; |

Languages Excellent written and editing skills in English; Knowledge of a second UN language will be an advantage. (Note: The official languages of the Organization are Arabic, Chinese, English, French, Russian and Spanish.) |
The Secretary-General may appoint a candidate at a grade below the advertised grade of the post, with the possibility of promotion to that grade within three years of appointment, subject to satisfactory appraisal of performance.
Work programme:
– Gaining familiarity with CREWS set-up;
– Knowledge of a website content migration;
– Contributing to the production of communication materials (drafting, consulting, validation, design).
Learning component of the internship:
The Internship will provide an exposure to a multi-lateral financial initiative with three international organizations supporting its implementation (WMO, World Bank and UNISDR) from a communication lens;
Learning to contribute to a web presence and how to create momentum around important events.
