Under the overall direction of the Head of the CREWS secretariat and direct supervision of the CREWS Programme Officer, the intern will be supporting the programming, monitoring, reporting and evaluation work of the CREWS Secretariat:
Update the mapping of needs of LDCs and SIDS to feed into the updates of the CREWS Pipeline List;
Update the list of projects and dashboard of the Accelerated Support Window;
Update the table of CREWS projects alignment with complementary initiatives;
Assist in following up progress reports from the Implementing Partners, consolidating information and contribute to data analysis for presentation to the CREWS Steering Committee;
Support in organizing events and activities of the Secretariat, i.e. drafting generic presentations and assisting in logistics;
Perform other tasks as requested by the supervisor.
QUALIFICATIONS | ||
Education At least Bachelor’s degree in development studies, international relations, environment and similar. |

Experience Background in data analytics. |

Other requirements Autonomously and self-motivated; Teamwork skills; Takes initiative and is a self-learner; Ability to meet rigid deadlines. |
||
Languages Proficiency in English required, Fluency in French preferred (Note: The official languages of the Organization are Arabic, Chinese, English, French, Russian and Spanish.) |
The Secretary-General may appoint a candidate at a grade below the advertised grade of the post, with the possibility of promotion to that grade within three years of appointment, subject to satisfactory appraisal of performance.
