The role:
Interoperability Verification & Validating (V&V) is part of non-functional requirements validation and, like security V&V, has a significant importance in the NATO environment. The successful candidate will be working within a highly motivated and cross-functional team, touching upon a different numbers of activities around interoperability, Federated Mission Network (FMN) and verification and validation within a multinational environment.
The ideal candidate will show leadership skills and willingness to learn, and excel on analytical and problem solving skills, being able to think critically regarding systems, and what and how to test. He/she will be comfortable performing different type of tasks, able to speak up their mind as well as listen to others. The new role will, but not limited to:
· Participate in interoperability testing events, contributes to planning and execution of events
· Contribute to interoperability verification and validation activities in NATO exercises, like Steadfast Cobalt or CWIX
· Participate in Coalition Interoperability Assurance and Validation (CIAV) Working Groups for the different initiatives, like FMN, ARF or eVA
· Coordinate, plan, schedule, execute and report on Interoperability V&V activities.
· Analyse complex test scenarios based on operational use cases, extract the test conditions, design tests events;
· Contribute to the management and maintenance of the AV&V repository, including services, service functions, test requirements, test cases and use cases;
· Contribute to the delivery of the Interoperability Verification and Validation services including the IO Toolset and the underlying repository of V&V artefacts;

About you:
You easily establish good relationship and are able to relate to people at all levels. You produce new ideas, approaches and insights to deliver innovate solutions to problems. Able to adapt to changing circumstances you can manage ambiguity, accept new ideas and change initiatives, further to this you have:
· Experience as test engineer in interoperability events
· Experience testing NATO Standards, like MIP, FFT, TDL, NVG, OTH-Gold, APP-11 or
· Experience testing Commercial standards, like NTP, DNS, SMTP/S, LDAP/S, SAML, HTTP/S,
· Knowledge of ISTQB foundation principles
· Experience using, supporting designing, operating, maintaining and testing virtualized environments
· Experience using, supporting designing, operating, maintaining and testing cloud-based environments
