Overview of Food and Land Use Coalition
Established in 2017, the Food and Land Use Coalition (FOLU) is a community of organizations and individuals committed to the urgent need to transform the way we produce and consume food and use our land for people, nature, and climate. The core partners of the FOLU India Country platform are Council on Energy Environment and Water (CEEW), The Energy and Resources Institute
(TERI), Revitalizing Rainfed Area Network (RRA-Network), and WRI India.

Background and about your role:
The Food Systems Summit 2024 is a premier national conference of the Food Systems Hub where practitioners, academicians and private sector showcased their work on various aspects of food systems transformation. The Summit was co-organized by Food and Land Use Coalition India (FOLU India) with the support of its core partners and Bharat Krishak Samaj. The inaugural edition of the Summit took place from 15th to 17th of October, 2024 in New Delhi.
Objective and thematic focus
The objective of the Summit has been to foster understanding, collaboration, and learning among participants to accelerate Food Systems Transformation in a just and inclusive manner. The Summit showcased sustainable models focusing on the following four key thematic areas:
• Supporting sustainable agriculture production
• Facilitating rainfed area management
• Improving nutritional outcomes
• Driving sustainable food distribution systems and consumption behavior
Organization and Structure
The Summit was held over three days. Events included:
• High-level plenary sessions and addresses by sectoral experts
• Parallel sessions across the four thematic areas, hosting about 80 CSOs
• Networking opportunities for all participants
The FSS witnessed more than 200 participants, drawn from diverse fields related to the food system. The audience included the presenting institutional representatives, policymakers, individual experts, civil society, students, and academia.

In this context, FOLU India would like to hire a video agency to create a short film on the Summit.
Responsibilities of the video agency
Following is the scope of work:
  • Analyse existing media around the Summit including photos and videos to gain thorough understanding of the Summit and its background
  • Receive briefing from the FOLU team on the outline of the film and its intended audience
  • Create a contemporary film product that brings out the key aspects of the script
  • Create a draft story line and finalise the script with FOLU India team based on feedback from the team
  • Record bytes of members from FOLU India as required for the script.
  • Add English subtitles (with proofreading, etc) once draft version of the film has been finalised.
  • Provide voice-over (in English) if needed in the script.
Deliverables:
  • Create a short film of 5-6 minutes on the Food Systems Summit 2024.
  • Create three shorts out of the film of about 1.5 minute each.
Requirements:
  • Prior experience of preparing video content for the development sector
  • Fluency in spoken and written English.
  • Technical capacity within the team to execute the project
