About the job: 

Based in Brussels you will join the Agency as we embark on a journey to transform our IT services to support NATO’s Digital Endeavour. You will join The Office of the Chief of Acquisition which provides the full range of acquisition expertise and activities which support the planning, implementation and maintenance of the required capability to support the Agency’s strategic goals and missions. 

We are looking for a driven and enthusiastic IPS-Logistics Coordinator who will take on the following roles and responsibilities:

  • Coordinating inventory and conducting physical configuration audit;
  • Coordinating with contractors and project teams to ensure timely, complete and secure delivery and maintaining records of all shipments;
  • Overseeing supply chain processes, evaluating strategies and monitoring effectiveness;
  • Assist in applying supportability engineering methods and techiques;
  • Assisting in the tax and duty free import and export of goods.

About you:

The valuable knowledge and experience that you bring to this role are:

  • Higher vocational training in a relevant discipline with 3 years post-related experience. Or a secondary educational qualification with 5 years;
  • Knowledge of the IPS discipline or of life-cycle logistics operations at technician level;
  • Very good knowledge of Microsoft SharePoint, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint;
  • Excellent communication skills;
  • Training or certification in at least one of the following: 
    • Application of ILS methodology related to supply chain logistics, such as documented in ASD S3000L and other similar/ related standards;
    • Supply chain logistics related to packaging, labelling, handling, storage, and transportation of goods, and the development and administration of logistics data;
    • Application of EU and NATO customs and import/export laws and regulations;
    • Handling and management of warranty cases;
    • Asset Management & Configuration Management related to property accounting, configuration auditing (FCA and PCA) and baseline hand-over/ take-over;
    • Knowledge of NATO Logistics Support System or experience working in an international organization that comprises both military and civilian elements will be a plus;
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
