To successfully execute Innovation Packages Scaling Readiness (IPSR) within CGIAR, the Portfolio Performance Unit (PPU) is looking to hire an additional Scaling and Innovation consultant, who will contribute to the design and implementation of IPSR, as well as support innovation portfolio management efforts.

Duration: 12 months with possible extension, 70%-100% FT. Anticipated starting date is as soon as possible.
Location: Fully Remote. Approved business travel will be facilitated by CGIAR SO when required.

Innovation Packages and Scaling Readiness (IPSR) forms an important part of CGIAR’s performance and results management system, which tracks how investments in research and innovation turn into impact. IPSR is an approach that supports CGIAR Initiatives in achieving four main objectives:
Over the next 3-year business cycle, CGIAR aims to profile 1000s of its innovations and design 100s of innovation packages all across the world. Tracking innovation and innovation package data and metrics will feed innovation portfolio management, risk management, and decision-making to increase the likelihood that CGIAR science and innovation contribute to Sustainable Development Goals.
