YOUR IMPACT
Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
Infrastructure and Network Support
- Administer SCC’s Office 365 tenant, including configuration, access controls, and user management
- Administer the IP telephony system, including configuration, access controls, and user management
- Administer SCC’s Azure tenant, including configuration and server management
- Administer on-premise networking appliances and physical servers
- Maintain up-to-date inventories of all IT assets (software, hardware)
- Support organization-wide patch management and security update processes and tools for end-user devices
- Support the development, execution and maintenance of enterprise-wide Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery Plans
- Support the development, execution and maintenance of a cybersecurity plan
Advisory Support
- Support other departments with respect to addressing their IT needs (e.g. evaluation of technology solutions, use of existing technologies to improve efficiency, etc)
- Recommend changes to SCC’s existing IT infrastructure to ensure it meets the ongoing needs of the organization
Policies and Procedures
- Support the development, implementation, and update of new and existing IT policies and procedures
- Support the development of training materials, and the and delivery of training to staff
- Maintain SCC’s IT knowledgebase, ensuring staff have access to documentation to support their usage of organizational software and technologies
Vendor Support
- Liaise with vendors and provide project management support as necessary to ensure projects remain on track, including facilitating the gathering of information and responses to queries from SCC staff
- Work closely with vendors to ensure service delivery standards are being met, and escalating concerns to the Head of IT as necessary
WHAT YOU BRING
Qualification, Knowledge & Experience:
- Completion of post-secondary education (diploma or degree) in Information Technology
- 4-6 years in a similar function or position
- Relationship management skills including the ability to listen, build rapport and manage client expectations (often across different geographies).
- Demonstrated commitment to customer service.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Azure, including resources, services, and management.
- Knowledge of Microsoft 365, including Office, SharePoint Online, and Teams
- Knowledge of Microsoft Windows, including Active Directory, Microsoft SQL Server
- Understanding of cybersecurity (e.g., firewalls, intrusion detection and prevention, threat analysis)
- Understanding of network architecture, equipment, and best practices
- Experience in vendor and contract management
- Expertise in project management and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneouslyMust adhere to Save the Children’s Child Safeguarding policy and protocols
WHAT WE OFFER
This position salary range between $58,802.00 – $74,562 CAD depending on skills and experience. In addition to this, our employees will have the following package of additional benefits:
