The mission of the Corporate Information Technologies Department (CIT) is to leverage technology to enable IFC’s strategic priorities and to support IFC’s business and operations. By acting as the technology partner and business enabler, the department provides state-of-art information and technology solutions to support IFC’s operations.
CIT is looking for a highly motivated and versatile Loan System Functional Business Analyst with strong business analytical and technical skills to join the team. This is an exciting opportunity to join a diverse team of highly skilled technical professionals and contribute to the IFC’s priorities. The position will be based in Sofia, Bulgaria.
Roles & Responsibilities:
• Provide overall support to ensure the successful design, testing, and implementation of business applications. Also, provide support in developing training materials and conducting training.
• Develop and document business cases, business processes and workflows, requirements, use cases, test plans, test strategies, test cases, and operational procedures and plans
• Identify business and functional requirements by working with application end-users, and lead the collection, analysis, documentation, and coordination of those requirements.
• Design and execute test cases for application development and implementation projects
• Maintain a comprehensive chronological trail of requirements and agreements and actively contribute to the project change control process. Document and manage issues and actions
• Document and manage issues and actions for IT applications and projects
• Prepare and make presentations using MS PowerPoint and Visio to project stakeholders and management
• Evaluate applications and IT environments, and analyze gaps between current and desired states.
Selection Criteria
• Master’s degree with 2 years relevant experience or bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in Accounting, Banking, Finance or Computer Science with work experience with Accounting Concepts. Professional accounting qualification is highly desirable.
• Experience in requirements collection and interviewing capabilities, strong analytical skills to critically evaluate gathered information, and high proficiency in the development of business/technical requirements documentation for large-scale information systems.
• Experience in the design, development and implementation of large systems including the transitioning to/from a commercial lending and servicing system will be an especially appealing skill.
• Strong proven experience in loan servicing, accounting systems, transaction processing and accounting concepts.
• Experience with software tools used in Requirements and Software Development.
• Strong ability in reading business requirements and conceptualizing user stories.
• Good project management skills and experience.
