Duties and Responsibilities
Under the general supervision of UNCTAD ASYCUDA Regional Coordinator for Eastern Europe and Central Asia the incumbent will undertake following duties
– Preparation of updated version of documentation of the regional version of ASYCUDA and Single Window
– Preparation of updated documentation for Single Window import permits component;
– Preparation of updated documentation for regional version of user-manuals for customs inspectors and brokers;
– Preparation of updated training documentation for transit and goods clearance;
– ;Preparation of updated training documentation for accounting and payment;
– Providing methodological advise to ASYCUDA developers on customization of software components to the regional specifics
Qualifications/special skills
A first university degree, Bachelor, in project management, technical science, information technology, computer science, engineering, mathematics or related area is required
At least 7 years of experience of work in ICT project management with experience of design, development, testing and piloting complex ICT applications, dealing with customs automation and Single Window systems methodology and documentation is required
Experience of working for an international organization is an advantage. Experience of working in the transition economies region is desirable
Languages
Fluency written and oral in Russian is required. Knowledge of English is desirable
