ROLE PURPOSE
The purpose of the job is to provide technical support for users and to manage and administer local IT infrastructure and corporate systems under the direction of the Operations and Security Manager.
DIMENSIONS OF THE ROLE
Under the guidance of the Operations & Security Manager, the IT Coordinator is responsible for implementing all IT operational plans, IT disaster recovery plans, security, and access control for data and network devices. He/she will plan and manage the CO technical services ensuring reliability of the IT infrastructure and adherence to all corporate processes.
ACCOUNTABILITIES
ICT Strategy, Planning, and Policy Support
• Ensure adherence to corporate ICT standards at the Country Office.
• Participate actively in the preparation of ICT strategy and annual work plan and ensure its implementation.
• Ensure Plan ICT policy, procedures, and guidelines are implemented effectively.
• Align Country IT Operations and design to global operational standards.
• Plan and determine the design and capacity requirements for Servers, desktops, laptops, printers, internet bandwidth communications, and local area networks equipment like routers, switches, and firewalls and Design and right-sizing Mobile communications working tools;
• Monitor the IT team performance and delivery of objectives as per Country Strategy, if applicable.
Management and Implementation of ICT Infrastructure
• Ensure availability and reliability of the IT infrastructure, applications, data security, and connectivity.
• Manage plan corporate systems like SAP (ERP), office 365, and ADDS.
• Provide first-line support, network and systems administration, troubleshooting, and maintenance of corporate applications to ensure smooth ICT operations.
• Monitor IT hardware, LAN, and connectivity.
• Implement security of data, network access, and backup systems.
• Coordinate activities for SAP Systems Data Cleansing and migration to ERP preparations.
• Manage Third Party Service contracting, design, deployment planning, and maintenance services.
• Manage user access to Plan Intranet, SharePoint, Planapps, and Workplace.
• Provide technical input to IT contracts for third-party services such as Internet Service Providers, hardware repairs and maintenance contracts, Telephone and Local Area Network deployments and maintenance, and power backup solutions deployment and maintenance.
• Provide guidance to the organization on IT investments or technology migrations.
• Undertake Corporate Systems and User Administration tasks for all Corporate Systems (SAP, SAP BI, HRIS, SharePoint, Intranet, Global Active Directory).
• Design and implement successfully new automation, digital, and innovation systems.
Systems Management and Reporting
• Provide a timely ICT disaster recovery to ensure business continuity.
• Oversee the Global Active Directory User Creation and Management
• Provide regular reports on Network security implementation and performance, ICT systems management, ICT security incidents, systems utilization, and hardware and software usage.
Capacity Building and Support
• Support and conduct training and induction sessions to Plan Lebanon staff on new policies, standards & procedures.
• Enhance the capacity of staff on digital skills and new systems.
• Oversee the delivery, continuity, information security, risk management, and effective support of IT infrastructure and systems including desktops, laptops, servers, printers, routers, switches, Corporate Applications, and software licenses (e.g., Microsoft Office, Microsoft Office Projects, Microsoft Windows Professional, Microsoft Windows Server, Microsoft SQL Server).
• Provide first-line support, advice, and solutions to IT users in relation to the application, data, and business process issues, ensuring all issues are resolved in a timely fashion.
Risk Management
• Manage the risk register and track the progress of agreed actions to mitigate risks.
• Identify areas of risk by providing regular analysis of IT infrastructure Plan regulations to mitigate these risks.
• Ensure that system security and organizational compliance, processes, and procedures are in place and properly maintained at the Country Office.
• Monitor actions taken to address weaknesses identified through partner due diligence.
• Monitor the network security and supervise the entire network system of the Country Office.
• Manage the inherent IT risks of the Country Office.
Safeguarding and Compliance with Plan values and policies
• Promote and abide by internal policies and procedures including but not limited to child protection policy, gender equality policy, code of conduct, data privacy, and mandatory reporting responsibility.
• Ensure that there are protocols and systems to monitor child protection in all issues of information technology at the Country Office level.
• Apply the knowledge required for the role, the complexity of problems handled & the degree of investigation, analysis, & creative thinking required to solve them.
• Ensure that Plan International’s global policies for Child Protection (CPP) and Gender Equality and Inclusion (GEI) are fully embedded in accordance with the principles and requirements of the policy including relevant Implementation Standards and Guidelines as applicable to their area of responsibility. This includes but is not limited to, ensuring staff and associates are aware of and understand their responsibilities under these policies and Plan International’s Code of Conduct (CoC), their relevance to their area of work, and that concerns are reported and managed in accordance with the appropriate procedures.

Qualifications and Experience
o A degree or equivalent in Computer Studies with 2 years of working experience in computer studies with 3 years of working experience
o At least 3 years of experience supporting LANs, SQL Server, and email server administration
o Experience in Microsoft Server administration
o Experience in managing and implementing information systems and supporting technologies
o Proven ability and experience in setting up LANs and telecommunications networks

o Capability to coordinate and cooperate within interdisciplinary teams
o Able to prioritize work effectively for execution with limited resources

o Working knowledge of English and the common national language
