About the position
Based in Rome, Italy and under the overall supervision of the Associate Officer, Organizational Development, the Job Trainee, Organizational Development will be part of the Organizational Development Unit of the Alliance. The Organizational Development Job Trainee will support the Unit with the policy framework management and socialization, as well as with change management activities such as the annual Services Satisfaction survey.
Responsibilities
The specific tasks of the position include the following:
- Provide support with the development and implementation of the annual Services Satisfaction survey, in coordination with concerned stakeholders and linking with the external survey provider.
- Follow up with internal stakeholders to monitor implementation of improvement actions plans from the 2023 Services Satisfaction survey, and related to organizational objectives, ensuring SMART key performance indicators.
- Assist in monitoring the implementation of socialization plans for approved policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure awareness and understanding among stakeholders.
- Support document finalization and content preparation for socialization material of approved policies, procedures, and guidelines (including news post or infographics) as necessary.
- Provide support to improve users’ experience and access to the internal policy framework from our Sharepoint, including through mapping and developing relationships amongst documents to create comprehensive metadata and facilitate informed decision-making.
- Support with developing periodic progress reports, dashboards, and presentations, including statistical and graphical material related to the satisfaction survey and organizational objectives, following up with concerned stakeholders.
- Support the provision of institutional training led by ODU (fraud prevention, change management, and risk management)
- Support the update of organizational structure documents and organigrams, following up with concerned stakeholders.
- Support the ODU team with administrative tasks (procurement, travel requests, etc) and any other duties as may be needed.
- Support the ODU team to ensure consistent delivery of high quality documents, products and change management projects, training and/or other projects as assigned.
Requirements
Essential Requirements

- Secondary school education
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite packages
- Working knowledge of the English language, both written and spoken
- Good interpersonal, communications and teamwork skills, courtesy and tact, and the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with people of different cultural and national backgrounds
- Good skills in personal organization and priority setting
- Good client orientation and service approach
- Good time management skills and attention to details
Desirable Requirements

- University degree in a relevant field
- Previous internships in relevant areas
- Work experience in an international environment
- Knowledge of Spanish language is a plus

Terms of employment
This is a job traineeship and the monthly salary is Euro 1,217. The contract is initially for a period of eleven (11) months, but extendable and renewable upon review of performance and funds availability.
