Org. Setting and Reporting
This position is located in the Judicial Records Unit (JRU) of the Registry of the International Residual Mechanism for Criminal Tribunals (IRMCT) in The Hague, The Netherlands. The incumbent will work under the general supervision of a designated officer in the JRU and report to the Head of the JRU.
Responsibilities
– Assist in the management of judicial records in accordance with relevant rules, regulations and policies. – Handle judicial filings respecting relevant security classifications. – Review judicial records towards identifying access restrictions. – Create and maintain relevant spreadsheets and extract relevant metadata from judicial records. – Prepare judicial records for uploading to the IRMCT’s Unified Judicial Database. – Conduct research and analysis of collected and stored JRU related information. – Participate in JRU related meetings and discussions. – Perform other duties as required.

Work Experience
Seven (7) years of progressive work experience in the field of judicial records and/or courts management is required. The minimum years of experience is reduced to five (5) years of work experience for candidates who possess a first-level university degree or higher. Experience in the management of ICTY, ICTR or IRMCT judicial records is desirable. Working experience in UN International Criminal Tribunals is desirable.
Languages
English and French are the working languages of the IRMCT. For the post advertised, fluency in oral and written English is required. Working knowledge of French, Bosnian/Croatian/Serbian, or Kinyarwanda is desirable.
