Do you have a passion for promoting accountability and fostering organizational learning? The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) is seeking a dedicated professional to join our team as an Associate, Monitoring & Learning within the Independent Project Accountability Mechanism (IPAM).

About Us

IPAM plays a critical role in ensuring accountability and transparency in EBRD-funded projects. We are committed to promoting a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Chief Accountability Officer to implement remedial actions and promote an accountability learning culture within the Bank.
  • Monitor the implementation of Management Action Plans and produce Monitoring Reports.
  • Design and implement an institutional learning program based on case experience and trends.
  • Analyze case data to identify lessons learned and areas for improvement.
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to gather insights and best practices.
  • Create knowledge dissemination and capacity development products such as e-courses and webinars.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in economics, development, social sciences, or a relevant field.
  • Experience in monitoring action plans and conducting research.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent writing and communication skills in English.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; knowledge of Tableau, Access, Stata, MaxQDA desirable.
  • Understanding of environmental and social standards in development finance.
  • Ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment and build strong relationships.
