The Opportunity

 

Logistics Officer in addition to learning and putting into practice what has been learned during training, the post holder will be called upon to provide support in carrying out the various activities of the office. Under the supervision of the PIIA Coordinator, the Logistics Officer shall amongst other tasks like ensure effective and efficient stock management, ensure effective and efficient management of Maroua PIIA Assets, effectively manage the vehicle fleet and generators of Maroua PIIA and Ensure efficient management of facilities/infrastructure (offices and guest). As Logistic Officer, you responsible to supervise and support the staff under your direct supervision, monitor their performance and strengthen their capacities according to the identified needs, respect and promote all Plan International policies and in particular Safeguarding of children and programme participants, fraud/corruption, Gender, inclusion and diversity, provide logistical support to teams during missions and reporting and archiving.

 

The Individual

 

We are looking to recruit a qualified candidate, with a Bachelor degree in in logistics, supply chain or any other related fields with at least 04 years minimum of recognized professional experience in the field of logistics with humanitarian NGOs; As Logistic Officer, experience working with an International NGO is required. As Logistic Officer, experience working in a humanitarian emergency context is an advantage. As Logistic Officer, you need to have the ability to plan, prioritize and respond flexibly to changing demands.
