To implement well-defined standard logistics/supply chain processes and activities to enable effective delivery of goods and services for all delivery modalities.
Provide support to logistics operations and activities, following standard processes and facilitating, directly or indirectly, the effective delivery of food assistance to beneficiaries.
Support timely ordering and delivery of commodities and supplies to authorized partners and destinations.
Support management of logistics vendors’ contracting activities including performance monitoring and measurement.
Respond to a variety of technical queries/requests for support, following standard processes, and obtaining guidance as required, to ensure timely and accurate resolution of all inquiries with a high standard of client service mindset.
Assist in monitoring inventory management processes to track trends and account for the inventory status from source to beneficiary.
Assist in the management of commodity accounting data quality and integrity.
Collect and compile data, produce and/or contribute to reports and ensure information accuracy in corporate systems in support to informed decision-making.
Assist in logistics vendors’ contracting activities including performance monitoring and measurement.
Support gathering market intelligence, and vendor assessments (e.g. transporters, retailers) to support the vendor selection process.
Process and verify documents and information for the execution of logistics service invoices especially invoices for demurrage and detention, take appropriate actions to resolve issues and/or disputes, at level, and where needed escalate to the supervisor.
Collect and compile data, produce and/or contribute to reports and ensure information accuracy in corporate systems in support to informed decision-making.
Any other duties as required.
Education: University degree in the related functional area (Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, Economics, law, Engineering, Information technology or any related fields is desirable.
Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience in Supply Chain, Logistics, Warehouse Management, Law, Shipping and other related fields.
Knowledge and Skills:
Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills
Efficiency and Time-Management
Good communication skills spoken and written, including drafting reports
Excellent numeracy and data anlytics skills
Knowledge of SAP and/or other ERM softwares
Excellent knowledge of MS Excel
Experience using corporate systems to monitor ongoing shipments, pipeline information, insurance claims, and food stock.
Experience in measuring service providers’ performance against set KPIs.
Language: Proficiency in writing and verbal communication in English is requisite

These jobs are based in multiple locations of Pakistan. Job holders will report to Logistics Officer, a Head of Unit, or the designate.

Job holders are able to recommend a course of action to staff at various levels and may allocate tasks to other support staff.
