Duties and Responsibilities
Daily responsibilities will depend on the individual’s background and the internship period. Duties may include: • Provides assistance with the update of the Business Continuity Plan and related activities such as drills, tabletop exercises and action plans by ensuring that emergency management procedures are consistent with business priorities and policies, subject to constant improvement. • Collaborates with programme/ project managers on administrative duties as requested. • Liaises with relevant parties on the interpretation of the activities/ services scheduled in the business plan. • Provides assistance on reporting requirements, guidelines, rules and procedures and ensures completeness and accuracy of the data submitted. • Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications/special skills
Applicants interested in this internship must met the following conditions: (a) Be enrolled in, or have completed, the final academic year of a first university degree programme (minimum bachelor’s level or equivalent), or; (b) Be enrolled in, or have completed, a graduate school programme (second university degree or equivalent, or higher) – For this internship, studies in the area of commercial engineering, business administration, business management, industrial civil engineering or similar is desirable.
Languages
Fluency in (English and Spanish) is required. Knowledge of another UN official language would be an asset. NOTE: “Fluency” equals a rating of ”fluent” in all four areas (speak, read, write, and understand) and ¨knowledge of¨ equals a rating of ”confident” in two of the four areas.

Duration: 4 months Desired start date: 01.July 2024 Overall contract duration: 4 months Estimated amount of actual time to work: 16 weeks (full- time basis, 35 hours per week) Regular working hours: Monday to Thursday 09:00- 18:00 hrs, Friday 09:00- 14:00 hrs.
