Job Title: Manager for Financial Analysis
Reports to: Associate Director of Financial Analysis
Location: Employees in this role can work from our Boston, MA office, remotely within the U.S. or hybrid of these two options. Willingness to travel internationally up to 15%.
Position Type: Full Time
Position Summary:
The Finance Manager will play a lead role in ensuring PIH has robust financial analyses to better inform organizational decision-making. This position will support in the development and dissemination of financial analyses as assigned, namely to partners on the Finance team and Finance leadership. The Finance Manager will be detail-oriented, have strong financial and analytical skills, and committed to cross-functional collaboration in a positive work environment.
Major Responsibilities:
Financial Analyses (50%)
  • With guidance and input from Associate Director, develop suite of standard financial analyses tools, as well as proposed process and usage.
  • Maintain and updatefinancialdata andcommunicate monthly, quarterly, and annual financialresults; monitor progress and changes,and keepAssociate Directorabreast ofanalysis results.
  • Support with ad hoc analyses and projects, as requested.
Multi-year Financial Projections & Finance Systems (25%)
  • In partnership with the Business Information Systems (BIS) team, manage suite of financial reports in Power BI, Jet Reports, and Excel templates; lead in key aspects of gap analysis for existing reports and develop and implement plans fill those gaps to ensure ongoing usability and accuracy.
  • Participate in multi-year financial systems working group to ensure current and future decisions are aligned with the goal of continued financial analysis improvements.
Management Revenue Projection & Analysis (15%)
  • Manage key aspects of revenue analyses,such asfundraising ROI,connecting proposalpipeline datato expense projections, and ensuring there is visibility into financial information.
  • Maintain and improve processes and tools for revenue forecasting and on-going management of revenue projections, across all channels and restrictions, in support of PIH’s monthly financial reporting.
Other responsibilities (10%)
  • Providementorship tosite finance team members across our sitesto increaseanalysis capabilities as part of site priorities.
  • Mentorship of other team members.
  • International travel, as required.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum eight years progressively responsible finance experience.
  • Minimum of Bachelor’s-level degree in public administration, business, finance, economics, accounting, or a related field, Master’s preferred.
  • Strong financial and analytical skills, including advanced Excel skills, financial modeling, data visualization and with preference for proficiency in PowerBI, Serenic, and Vena, or the proven ability to learn new systems quickly.
  • Experience mentoring and training a diverse team.
  • Experience at a global non-profit required.
  • Ability and willingness to travel, when needed.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead across a range of cultures, personalities, and competencies.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills; experience in effectively communicating key data, including presentations to senior management, board or other outside partners.
  • Interest in social justice and the cause of global health equity.
  • Proficiency in French, Haitian Creole or Spanish desirable.

The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between$70,000 and $90,000/year. The starting salary offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including marketfor the position, job-related knowledge,skillsand experience.
Subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable plans then in effect, eligible employees may enroll in a 401(k) plan with employer match, as well as participate in organization-sponsored medical, dental, vision, short-term and long-term disability insurance and basic life insurance plans for the employee and the employee’s eligible dependents. Full time employees will also receive 15 days of vacation, 12 sick days, 3 personal days and 3 volunteer days in addition to paid time off during the week between Christmas and New Years, the week of July 4th and 11 additional holidays annually.
