The Job
World Vision is looking for a Marketing Manager to join our talented direct marketing team. You’ll have a pivotal role in managing assigned fundraising program(s) for mass marketing, supporting channel & marketing campaigns through entire life-cycle of development to execution, and managing robust budgetary cost centers while helping achieve direct marketing business goals. S/he will help carry out our Christian organization’s mission, vision, and strategies with their work. The Marketing Manager will personify the ministry of World Vision by witnessing to Christ and ministering to others through life, deed, word and sign. This role has no director reports and will be an important individual contributor within the Direct Marketing Team.
Your Responsibilities Will Include:
- Keep Christ central in individual and corporate life. Actively participate in and contribute to the spiritual disciplines of the organization (Christian conduct, chapel, prayer, worship, devotions and the leadership of devotions); incorporate WV Core Values into decisions within scope of role.
- Manage the activities of partners, agencies, suppliers, and/or internal support departments and divisions in the execution of tactical marketing activities.
- Manage and/or support programs/projects. Develop business cases at a strategic and tactical level to ensure the initiative is successfully launched, nurtured and matured.
- Monitor results and recommend changes to strategies. Be responsible for supplying estimated and actual costs, audience, campaign source codes, and other critical campaign related data to ensure accurate and timely reporting of campaign outcomes.
- Provide technical expertise cross-functionally and across the organization to manage and optimize marketing efforts on an assignment basis.
- Coordinate the creative review process for all direct marketing campaigns, including routing/trafficking/consolidating edits and feedback with internal & external partners.
- Verify invoices against contract activity. Process invoices and coordinate payment to actual for project assignments.
- Coordinate and Partner effectively with Vendor Contract Services (VCS) on agency contracts & Scope of Work (SOW).
- Develop and manage and/or support project budgets, including expenses and anticipated income and/or retention outcomes.
- In a timely manner, provide expense and income reconciliation of budget to actual, budget to plan, and plan to actual for project assignment.
- May participate in overall division budgeting process and ensure alignment of department budget.

Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business or related field or equivalent work experience (eight years).
- In addition to education or education equivalent, requires a minimum of five years of experience in marketing, fundraising or related area.
Additional Skills We Are Interested In:
- Strong attention to detail is vital to this role (creative review process, proofreading, and budgetary details).
- Highly task-oriented that requires a significant level of heads down work and focus time on assignments & projects as assigned.
Salary Range & Benefits:
- WVUS Pay Grade Level: 223
- The estimated hiring range is $70,000 – $85,000 a year.
- The full earning capabilities for this position is $64,117.30 – $98,616.96
- This range applies to locations with a market similar to our Washington D.C. and Seattle-area office. A different range may apply based on your work location.
- Job offers are based on relevant qualifications and pay equity.
