Marketing Trainee (100%) – Temporary position of 1 year

Role

Marketing, which comes under the Commercial Policy and Marketing unit, contributes to achieving the goals of the ISO Strategy 2030 by supporting ISO members, leadership groups and internal units at ISO Central Secretariat. Marketing’s primary role is to design, plan, and implement marketing tactics that enable ISO members to achieve ISO ‘s strategic goals. The marketing intern role will be to support the marketing team in research and implementation of some key initiatives.

Key responsibilities

As a part of the Commercial Policy and Marketing unit, the marketing intern will have the following responsibilities:

  • Support in the research, implementation and development of value-added products and services.
  • Support in the development of promotional collaterals that can be used by ISO members and ISO/CS.
  • Assist the Commercial Policy and Marketing team with key strategic projects.
Report to: Marketing manager

Qualification and Experience

  • Bachelors or masters degree in business administration, marketing or equivalent.
  • Minimum 1 year work experience (or completion of research/thesis) in the area of marketing and communication.
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft applications (MS Excel, MS Powerpoint etc)
  • Fluency in English.
