Your responsibilities
Are you a Mechanical Engineer eager to work on innovative alignment solutions in a world-class research environment? As part of the AWAKE Project at CERN, you will play a key role in the development, deployment, and commissioning of precision adjustment platforms for the new 150 MeV AWAKE electron beamline.
You will join the Geodetic Metrology group and work within the Hight precision alignment team to support their mission of designing, implementing, operating, and analysing 3D alignment solutions with micrometric accuracy for accelerator components, transfer lines, and experimental areas, including the Machine Detector Interface geodetic link.

Contract duration: 24 months, with a possible extension up to 36 months maximum.
