Overall purpose of the role:

As part of the monitoring and evaluation activities, the MEAL volunteer will conduct data collection activities (in person/over the phone) for a number of questionnaires and surveys across different projects.

About the job

The individual will report directly to the MEAL Manager. Your main duties and responsibilities will be:

  • Conduct data collection activities (in person/over the phone) for the MEAL activities as specified by the supervisor.
  • Check completed work for accuracy and consistency, and ensure data quality of the data collected.
  • Ensure and comply with data protection practices and the confidentiality of all information.
  • Provide regular updates to the MEAL specialist based on the data collection plan.

About you

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant area (e.g. International Relations, Development Studies, social sciences) or a combination of a business related university degree and additional relevant experience.
  • Well knowledge of MS utilities (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
  • Experience in conducting data collection and remote interviews.
  • High communication skills.
  • Commitment to deadlines.
  • Fresh graduate are highly recommended to apply.
  • Arabic (fluent)
  • English (good)
