We are currently seeking qualified candidates for the position of Monitoring Evaluation and Learning Officer (MEL Officer) for the Civil Society Support (CSS) Activities project which is funded by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID).
JOB SUMMARY:
The MEL Officer will work under the supervision of the Chief of Party (COP) or successfully designated in updating and implementation of a comprehensive monitoring and evaluation plan by refining MEL indicators, implementing systems to safeguard the collection and management of program data, and recommending changes to annual work plans or data collection techniques as needed. The officer will train project staff, partners and Grantees on M&E reporting requirements and program learning strategies. S/he also documents and compiles the Project outcome/impact, lessons learned, and success stories collected from partners, grantees, and CSS team. The MEL Officer will work closely with all project staff, partners, and grantees to ensure the MEL requirements are fulfilled in a timely and quality manner with required quality checks, following the Project MEL plan, guidelines, and procedures.
