The Opportunity:
This position is responsible for supervising all Monitoring, Evaluation, Research and Learning (MERL) processes related to the ECHO funded project implemented in the Northwest Region. You will work closely with the MERL Coordinator, Project Coordinator and Officer in Charge, ensuring the quality of internal and external reports; this will also include defining and executing data editing and corrections, creating/accessing database, developing forms, documentation of procedures and data analysis for the ECHO funded project. The MERL Officer will be based at the Plan International Cameroon office in Bamenda, with travels to field locations related to the project.
The Individual/About You:
As the MERL Officer, you should hold a University Degree in Management Information Systems (MIS), Data Management, Computer Science or Statistics, Economics or related disciplines.
Also, with you having a minimum of three (03) years experience in Data Collection and Data Management, Monitoring & Evaluation, database design, database distribution and map production – with proficiency in the use of GIS, Advanced Excel, SPSS or STATA and other related software packages – you will be apt in meeting the obligations of this role.
