Required Experience: A Bachelor’s degree or 8 years of equivalent work experience. In addition, this role requires 8 years of experience in corporate partnerships, fundraising, sales, or relevant areas. Your experience should include a minimum of 3 years of leadership in functional strategy development and execution of new initiatives and/or business development related to fundraising initiatives coupled with a minimum of 3 years of staff management experience. Strong interpersonal skills and proven ability to motivate and energize staff to function effectively to achieve team goals.

Travel: International and domestic travel required, 15-25%.

Salary Range: $117,211.56 – $197,028.55. Applies to locations with a market similar to our U.S. HQ in the Greater Seattle area. A different range may apply based on your work location. 02As National Director, you report to the Vice President of Philanthropy (VPP). Your role is to inspire the Corporate Engagement team to achieve ambitious fundraising targets through love, grace, and Christ-like accountability. Utilizing your servant-based leadership, you’ll support a team of fundraisers responsible for cultivating, acquiring, growing, and retaining corporate relationships. You’ll provide strategic direction to relational fundraising teams for Gifts-in-Kind (GIK), cause marketing, cash grants, workplace giving, and matching gifts, aiming to generate approximately $300 million in annual resources for World Vision. Keep Christ central in individual and corporate life. Actively participate in and contribute to the spiritual disciplines of the organization (e.g. Christian conduct, chapel, prayer, worship, devotions, and leadership of devotions). Incorporate World Vision Core Values into decisions within scope of role.

 

 

  1. Fundraising Excellence
  • Develop and lead a best-in-class team of professional fundraisers, enabling World Vision to deliver more help to the poor by acquiring significant gifts from corporations.
  • Oversee the overall channel fundraising strategy, including annual fundraising activities, planned gifts, and capital campaigns.
  • Create and evaluate strategies to meet division and organizational goals, then translate these strategies into actionable plans.
  • Engage with and actively manage a portfolio of prospects, overseeing personal discovery, cultivation, invitation, acknowledgment, and service to maintain a healthy pipeline.

 

  1. Develop and Execute Corporate Engagement Strategy
  • Develop strategic plans, objectives, and a budget for your team, ensuring alignment with broader organizational goals.
  • Collaborate with various World Vision groups to leverage and grow partners’ time, talent, treasure, and influence toward World Vision’s ministry programs.
  • Lead a team of relational fundraisers to identify opportunities and develop both short and long-term strategies with national and multi-national companies, maximizing ministry impact and securing substantial funding for World Vision’s work.

04 Salary Range & Benefits Your compensation and benefits are important to you so they’re important to us. The full salary range for this role is $117,211.56 – $197,028.55. The typical hiring range is $135,000 – $165,000. Job offers within the range are based on relevant job qualifications and pay equity.
