Organizational Setting
The Division of Energy Planning and Nuclear Information and Knowledge comprises the Planning and Economic Studies Section, Nuclear Knowledge Management Section and the Nuclear Information Section. The Division is responsible for strengthening capacities in energy and nuclear power planning, building capacities to manage nuclear knowledge and develop nuclear workforce and provide knowledge management and human resource development services to interested member states, and to procure and provide printed and electronic information in the area of nuclear science and technology. The Nuclear Knowledge Management Section assists Member States by developing methodology and guidance documents in nuclear knowledge management and human resource development; implementing knowledge management and human resource development initiatives; facilitating sustainable education, training and information exchange in nuclear science and technology; and assisting Member States in maintaining and preserving nuclear knowledge and developing nuclear workforce. Main Purpose To provide technical expertise to the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) as a consultant in the update, development and implementation of materials, assessment tools, documents, procedures, events, and web-based tools, across the full range of the Nuclear Knowledge Management (NKM) Section’s programmatic scope. This includes the NKM Digital Hub, and the programme of Knowledge Management Assist Visits (KMAVs), International Nuclear Management Academy (INMA), Nuclear Energy Management (NEM) Schools, Nuclear Knowledge Management (NKM) Schools, and Knowledge Management Services to Member States. Functions / Key Results Expected • Develop, update and implement the relevant materials, assessment tools, documents, procedures, events, and web-based tools contents, across the NKM Digital Hub, and other activities (including KMAV, INMA, the NKM and NEM Schools), compiling and analyzing the input received from previous implementation and engaging with relevant internal stakeholders; Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required – Skills and Expertise

Qualifications and Experience
Remuneration The remuneration for this consultancy is a daily fee of up to a maximum of € 250, based on qualifications and experience. In case duty travel is required within the assignment, a daily subsistence allowance (DSA) and travel costs are provided. Health coverage and pension fund are the responsibility of the incumbent. |
