Network Development Lead Americorps Vista Position (Arkansas) Are you interested in learning more about food systems networks while supporting connections between local, regional, and national efforts? The Wallace Center at Winrock International is recruiting for a Network Development Lead Americorps VISTA Service Member to support the Food Systems Leadership Network (FSLN), a national peer learning community that connects current and emerging leaders, strengthens individual and collective leadership capacity, and fosters collaboration across communities. The goal of the network is to accelerate the realization of a just, equitable, and sustainable food system that generates good food, health, and opportunity for all.
The Network Development Lead VISTA will support the backbone team of the FSLN, build connections between Arkansas leaders and the national network, and help deliver network services to Arkansas food systems leaders. The member will build lasting capacity for the network by: Supporting the development and implementation of virtual trainings and peer learning opportunities, Researching and building capacity for state food and agriculture networks, Developing toolkits and learning materials based on existing FSLN programs, Supporting data tracking and evaluation across FSLN services, Improving the user experience of the online FSLN platform, and Identifying funding to further state and regional network development. The Americorps VISTA will have the opportunity to develop their leadership skills and learn project management, facilitation, evaluation and fundraising skills through their service. This service site is based in North Little Rock, AR with the potential for teleservice from anywhere in Arkansas.
