ICRISAT seeks application from Indian nationals, for the position of ?Associate Manager-Soil and water conservation? ICRISAT Development Centre?? to support activities of Global Research Program on Resilient Farm and Food Systems (GRP-RF&FS) on Natural Resource Management. There is a requirement of 1 position where the incumbents to be based at Central India and will report to Global Research Program Director, RF&FS, ICRISAT.

Responsibilities
· Liaising with Department of Agriculture and other line departments in state governments for smooth implementation of various initiatives particularly converging with various line department schemes/programs
· Help PI, state coordinator and project team in organizing review and planning meeting, stakeholder consultation.
· Help in documenting the project outcomes both in form of success stories, documentaries and videography
· To organize capacity building/exposure visits to farmers
· All other project related activities as per the need
Key Qualifications:
· Master?s degree in agricultural engineering/soil and water conservation/soil science/agroforestry/agriculture extension/agronomy and related NRM disciplines with 25 years of work experience.
· Demonstrate capacity to work collaboratively as part of multi-disciplinary team.
· Willingness to work in extremely challenging condition
· Candidate should will to stay near to project location to oversee project related activities
General:
This is a contractual position for a period of 36 months.
