You have:

  • A college diploma in administration or a related area or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Proficiency in French and English (reading, writing and speaking).
  • Relevant and recent experience in administration and program support preferably in a field related to the program areas of IDRC.
  • The ability to multi-task and effectively prioritize competing tasks to deliver high-quality outputs within tight deadlines.
  • Demonstrated initiative and ability to synthesize information and plan for next steps.

You are:

  • Providing administrative, coordination, logistical and communication support to a highly engaged and dedicated team.
  • Refining and improving standard operational processes and workflows.
  • Organizing and coordinating internal and external in-person, virtual and hybrid meetings, workshops and other IDRC events over different time zones.
  • Supporting the management of budget allocations and expenditures.
  • Coordinating, monitoring and supporting the project completion process.
  • Taking initiative and bringing continuous innovations to your work.
  • Joining an organization that values and models diversity, inclusion, and equity.
