This is a hybrid position which requires 8 days per month in the office. You can be based in our office in Washington DC Office. Existing work authorization is required at the time of application submission as WRI is unable to sponsor any visa work sponsorship for this position. To be eligible for this position, you must be a resident of DC, Maryland or Virginia at the start of employment.

 

About the Program:

 

WRI Operations team supports the crucial front-line work of the organization, they directly interact and work with Donors, Partners, Government agencies, Statutory bodies, Trustees, Vendors, and Consultants in fielding their inquiries, providing support at all the fronts and solving problems. So that the WRI programs can be implemented without any hurdles and the program staff and researchers can develop high quality research documents, plans and implement the programs at the field level. WRI operations team consists of various functions such as Budget and Finance, Grants and Contracts, Legal Counsel, Human Resource, IT and Facilities management. Each role comes under the purview of operations and each function lead reports to the Director Operations and Director Operations report to the CEO of the Organization. WRI Operations team strive for operational excellence across all functions starting with the recruitment, retention and management of WRI’s staff, our most important asset. We manage our endowment, the contributions entrusted to us, and our facilities in ways that are in line with our values and advance our mission. We maintain strict budgetary planning and financial controls to ensure that all contributions are managed in compliance with donors’ wishes.

 

Job Highlight:

 

Reporting to the ERP Solutions & Integrations Manager, you will fill a hybrid role combining your skills of a Power App Developer and Analyst. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining custom applications within Power Platform while also leveraging Workday to support HR and Finance business processes. You will require technical and analytical skills, and the ability to work independently or within teams. You will assist with development, implementation, administration, and operations support for collaboration tools within the Microsoft 365 suite (Office 365, Teams, SharePoint Online). You will assist with maintenance of Workday as needed.

 

What will you do:

 

SharePoint Maintenance (10%): –

 

  • Assist in the administration and maintenance of SharePoint sites, libraries, and lists
  • Support the creation and management of SharePoint pages and content
  • Help configure SharePoint permissions, ensuring proper user access and security compliance
  • Provide user support, troubleshooting, and issue resolution related to SharePoint functionality
  • Collaborate with teams to gather requirements and help implement SharePoint solutions
  • Assist with data migration tasks to and from SharePoint environments
  • Document processes and procedures for end-users and IT support

 

Power Platform Development (60%):

 

  • Assist with integration issues, ensuring timely resolution and minimal disruption to business operations
  • Develop and maintain integration documentation, including technical specifications and data mapping
  • Build and support applications, dashboards, forms, and workflows
  • Develop project documentation including design diagrams and knowledge guides
  • Follow the change management process

 

Analyst (30%):

 

  • Assist end-user with Workday functionality
  • Assist with maintaining the Workday HELP guides
  • Assist with the configuration and maintenance of Workday business processes
  • Troubleshoot issues within Workday and resolve system or process-related errors in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with HR, Finance and IT teams to implement Workday and enhancements.

 

What will you need:

 

  • Education: You have completed a bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, engineering or relevant field Experience
  • Experience: You have a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in developing solutions using Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and PVA)
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft SharePoint (2013, 2016, Online) administration and functionality
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office 365 and its integration with SharePoint.
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service
  • Ability to work both independently and within a team environment
  • Understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, or other web technologies
  • Workday experience is a plus
  • Languages: Full fluency in English required and second language preferred
  • Requirements: Existing work authorization is required where this position is based. WRI is unable to authorize visa work authorization

 

 

Potential Salary: US salary range is between 57,000 and 62,000 USD. Salary is commensurate with experience and other compensable factors.
