Position Summary
The Alliance of Bioversity International and CIAT is seeking to recruit an Operations Intern. The Operations Intern will support Malawi office operations functions to deliver the expected outputs and outcomes.
Main Responsibilities:
- Book travel arrangements.
- Hiring vehicles from car hire companies.
- Provide general support to visitors.
- Plan meetings and take detailed minutes.
- Order office supplies.
- Fuel management, responsible for fuel receipts reconciliations.
Requirements
- Minimum of a Diploma in Business Administration.
- Previous experience in a similar role.
- Good knowledge of the MS Office applications, Internet, and office technology equipment.
- Good knowledge of communication and documentation standards.
- Good knowledge of corporate computerized financial/ travel/ Human Resources systems, administrative procedures, and policies.
- Good knowledge of donor Rules and Regulations e.g. UN Agencies, EU, USAID
- Good knowledge of organization structures.
- Good command of English language.
Terms of employment:
This is an internship position based in Lilongwe , Malawi. The initial contract will be for period of three (3) months and is renewable depending on performance and availability of resources.
