Key Responsibilities:
Monitoring and reporting of project and program information
- Develop and implement monitoring and tracking tools, framework, system for IP to collect routine information on the performance of all projects and programs formulation, performance and closure in collaboration with Programs (IP team & MEAL) and IT.
- Oversee the management of information within IP and ensure that the information need is met in a timely, effective and efficient manner.
- Handle monthly departmental update, quarterly reports to AC and EARO, etc. and meet all reporting requirement for IP.
- Develop dashboard and track all the required information from all units in IP, compile and share the result in a regular fashion
Documentation and dissemination of best practices
- Work with the Program team and Comms in the development and packaging of information to be disseminated to internal and external partners in an effective manner.
- Collect, manage and share best practices within programs and projects and share with stakeholders, in collaboration with Program team and Comms.
Sharing, reflection and learning
- Share data illustrating the IP’s progress in achieving its goal.
- Work with the programs and MEAL teams in the dissemination of baselines, monitoring and evaluation information and learning with all relevant partners.
- Document and protect data as per the data protection policy.
- Build capacity of partners on knowledge management, data protection and sharing and encourage staff to share knowledge.
- Ensure staff are aware of the knowledge management resources available to support their work.
Project and program planning
- Manage, maintain or develop tools, framework and system for the information and data to be accessible to internal partners.
- Cooperate and work with MEAL in annual planning process of all projects and programs and update the Management on the status.
- Lead planning and budgeting process of IP and track status of plans of all units under IP as per the guideline of GC and NO.
- Ensure lessons are identified and applied in annual planning.
Other assignments
- Undertakes other assignments given from the SDO relevant to the role and the department.
KNOWLEDGE/QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE ROLE
Required Professional Experience
- Master’s degree with 5+ years of experience (preferred) in knowledge management, organizational learning, international development, international affairs or Bachler Degree with relevant work experience at least with 6 years experience
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written, strong negotiation, and teamwork skills.
- Strong conceptual knowledge about theories of change, logic model, multi-sector program indicators, data quality assurance, data utilization, program monitoring and integration.
- Demonstrated experience and expertise in developing and operationalizing a comprehensive KM framework and plan.
Required Education, training, license, registration, and certification.
Master’s degree in social sciences, Development Studies, Statistics, Development Studies, Project/Program Management, and other related disciplines or Bachler Degree in Social Sciences, Development Studies, Statistics, Development Studies, Project/Program Management, and other related disciplines or Bachler Degree
- A strong command of Microsoft Office Word, Excel, and other relevant computer statistical database applications and visual presentational software and media outlets
- Trainings in communication skill and project planning and management, accountability, etc.
Preferred Knowledge and Qualifications
- Demonstrated understanding of knowledge management principles and capacity to deliver knowledge management and/or organizational learning activities
- Demonstrated interest in and capacity to deliver knowledge management and/or organizational learning programs
- Ability to link content development and engagement strategies that facilitate timely, useful delivery of information through project learning platforms and activities
- Excellent facilitation, written and oral communication skills
- Creative problem-solving and ability to work under tight deadlines
- Team player with positive attitude
Travel and/or Work
The position requires ability and willingness to travel domestically up to 30% of the time
