This newly created Technology Operations Manager role will help us deliver on our vision of a better world for children. The role will focus on managing our key technology contracts, reducing our technology costs and helping build resilient and scalable tech processes.
Key accountabilities
· Managing key tech partner relationships, driving close collaboration with key technology vendors and ensuring they are bringing their best to the relationship to support Save the Children’s mission.
·Technology contract and lifecycle management, ensuring key contract dates are anticipated and opportunities to negotiate or optimise agreements are taken advantage of.
· Cost optimization and license management across the technology portfolio. Analysis of opportunities for cost savings alongside technical specialists and management of initiatives to reduce cost.
· Defining and managing processes for the full physical asset lifecycle from acquisition to responsible disposal, minimising waste and cost, and minimising environmental impact while ensuring fit for purpose.
·Facilitating cross functional collaboration both within technology and between technology and other departments.
· Driving continuous improvement within the technology group, prioritising excellent customer service and efficient and cost effective operations while preserving the culture of creativity with the team.
· Managing key technology processes including change management, document repository management, communications management, performance reporting and major incident management / coordination.
