DURATION: up to 11 months
BACKGROUND AND PURPOSE OF THE ASSIGNMENT:
To contribute to the development with DG ECHO and other EU institutions in order to promote the work of WFP, raise and mobilize resources to support WFP operations.
ACCOUNTABILITIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
DELIVERABLES AT THE END OF THE CONTRACT:
Number of Country Offices assisted in preparing high-quality donor reports. Reports are consistently submitted in a timely manner, ensuring adherence to EC requirements, deadlines and maintaining high standards of quality.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Education: Undergraduate degree with experience in the field of international affairs, or other relevant academic background.
Experience: At least three years of relevant experience in Partnerships.
Knowledge & Skills:
Ability to plan and organize; demonstrate ability to write clearly, concisely, accurately and quickly; ability to multitask and work under tight deadlines; ability to work with minimum supervision under own initiative; tact and ability to work harmoniously with people of different national and cultural backgrounds; demonstrated problem- solving skills; ability to conceptualize issues, think in
abstract terms, and analyze numerical data; strong oral and written communications skills
Languages: Excellent command of spoken and written English.
