Our employment opportunity of the moment: Power Platform Architect

Location: Ottawa (Hybrid Mode*)

You have :

  • A University degree in computer science, data science, information science, business or other relevant degree, or an acceptable combination of education, experience, and training. Power Platform or related certification(s) is an asset.
  • Proficiency in French and English, reading writing and speaking.
  • Substantive experience in architecting and developing cloud-based solutions using Microsoft Power Platform, including experience directly related to system integrations.
  • Enhanced skillset with data warehousing, database development, data modeling and their related best practices.
  • Experience with transforming and transferring data between information systems.
  • Experience in data reporting and/or business intelligence tools and machine learning concepts, are assets.

You are :

  • Someone who enjoys working with diverse teams to model their data lifecycle and challenges, as part of gaining an overall understanding of organizational information flow.
  • Passionate about system architecture and integration, and you stay informed of best practices and innovations pertaining to providing solutions in a cloud-based environment.
  • Interested in exploring various aspects of AI, ML, NLP, etc. and how they could be used to produce a more cohesive and positive end-user experience.
  • A strong communicator with great interpersonal skills.

You are interested in:

  • Helping IDRC to leverage its data and information assets to enable evidence-based decision-making, as a strategic priority, by modeling and merging data from different sources, performing data transformation, as well as investigating and making recommendations about technological solutions.
  • Joining a dynamic team – Digital Solutions Management – and working in collaborative and creative ways across the Centre to solve complex data problems, in support of real and sustainable change in our world.

  • *Hybrid Mode: Have the flexibility to work in hybrid mode (3 days out of 10 in the office).
