Key Responsibilities:

Digital Public Relations Executive

 

Salary: circa £30,763 – £36,192  per annum + good range of benefits. Salary is negotiable for exceptional and highly skilled candidates. 

 

Contract: Permanent – 36.5 hours per week

 

Based: Hybrid working (UK based only). Must travel to the Milton Keynes office once a week.

Job Purpose

Are you looking to take the next step in your career? World Vision is looking for a passionate and results driven Digital Public Relations Executive to support, develop and implement a digital PR strategy that will help World Vision raise its profile and improve SEO performance. The main purpose of the role is to lead Digital PR campaigns, working closely with the digital team and the PR manager to secure high quality online media and blog placements.

 

You will be working with various stakeholders across digital and fundraising teams, leading the full end to end digital and PR process including ideation, outreach, relationship management, press releases and reporting. The role will also help the PR Manager deliver on the wider PR strategy, identifying opportunities to boost awareness and consideration of World Vision amongst our core audiences.

 

You should be a creative, experienced digital public relations professional who can think creatively to engage a variety of audiences, while also successfully building high quality links. You should have experience in, or a passion for the ever-evolving world of digital PR as well as a bulging contacts book of journalists and media professionals, and a good knowledge of the modern media landscape.

 

You will be working in a muti-disciplinary team liaising with digital innovators, skilled fundraisers, major corporate partners and a wide range of committed World Vision supporters and ambassadors. From writing about a trustee running an ultra-marathon through to a multi-national company pledging its support to vulnerable children, this role offers variety and the chance to build relationships with people on many levels.

 

If you have demonstratable evidence of placing press stories, have previous experience working in a digital PR or outreach related role and are creative thinker, not afraid to challenge the status quo, we want to hear from you.
