About the job:
NCI Agency acquire, deploy and defend communications systems for NATO’s political decision-makers and Commands. Based in Oeiras (Portugal) you will join the NCI Academy.
The NCI Academy has been created by the NCI Agency to deliver high quality, certifiable and modern vocational training on systems and services utilised within NATO. The NCI Academy is led from its flagship training delivery location in Oeiras (Portugal) and supported by staff and capabilities in The Hague (The Netherlands), Brussels and Mons (Belgium).
The Command and Control Functional Service (C2FS) branch is responsible for the planning and execution of all C2 training related activities, delivering dedicated training and conduct courses as directed by the Head, C2&FS Training Branch. The LMC Domain is responsible for training delivery of Land, Maritime and Common Functional Services

About you
We are looking for a talented, committed and engaged Command & Control Functional Services (C2FS) instructor, ideally with a higher vocational training in a relevant discipline with 3 years post-related experience or a secondary educational qualification with 5 years post-related experience.
The valuable knowledge and experience that you bring to this role are:
– Technical knowledge and experience of at least one of the NATO C2 functional services MCCIS (Maritime Command and Control Information System), LC2IS (Land Command and Control Information Service) and NCOP (NATO Common Operational Picture) is required, as well as system management experience of MOSS, SQL and BizTalk servers;
– capability to provide training to both non-technical personnel and technical specialists. (A national qualification, ‘competency’ or certification in teaching or instructional techniques for IT would be desirable) plus experience with online and blended learning technologies including Learning Management Systems (LMS)
It might be necessary to travel to NATO and national (NATO and non-NATO) facilities and to undertake duty travel to operational theatres inside and outside NATO boundaries.
