You have:

  • A master’s degree specializing in a relevant field of study such as climate change, marine ecology, environmental geography, aquatic food production, biodiversity and conservation, natural science, or aquaculture agriculture.
  • Proficiency in French and English (reading, writing, and speaking).
  • Demonstrated research experience and understanding of gender equality, equity, and inclusion issues in aquaculture production systems and in the advancement of nature-based solution.
  • Significant experience in project management, problem-solving and facilitating collaborative and transdisciplinary research.
  • Experience in grant management, monitoring and evaluation, and knowledge mobilization.
  • A deep knowledge of programming within low-middle income countries;’ specific experience within Asia would be considered as an asset.

  • Supporting the implementation of program strategies for knowledge synthesis, monitoring and evaluation, as well as communications and engagement strategies, especially within the climate change fora.
  • Improving research uptake by linking on-going research with national decision-making and global networks.
  • Monitoring and tracking overall progress, ensuring that gender is fully integrated in a consistent way.
  • Joining an organization that values and models diversity, inclusion, and equity.

*Hybrid Mode: Have the flexibility to work in hybrid mode (Minimum 3 days out of 10 in the office).

This position requires occasional international travel.
