• Support the program manager and the project team in intervention delivery;
• Arrange and conduct technical training for brick kiln owners, managers and workers
• Provide onsite technical support to the brick kiln owners;
• Identify problems and provide solutions to the brick kiln workers;
• analyze and troubleshoot program challenges;
• Collect kiln performance monitoring data periodically;
• Coordinate and support work planning, budgeting, and reporting;
• Coordinate technical advisory group, including maintaining communication with group members and sharing information;
• Oversee administrative duties within the project team including database management.

Required qualifications and experience:

• Bachelor of Science in Chemical/Mechanical engineering with excellent academic records;
• A critical understanding of the brick industry in Bangladesh and air pollution
• Willing to work under pressure and in remote areas
• Experienced candidates will be given preference.

Location: Dhaka.

Number of Positions: 20

Contract Type and Duration:

• CSA basis for 4 months with a possibility of extension subject to availability of funds and performance.

Salary & benefits:

• Tk. 57,048/-per month (consolidated) inclusive of house rent and conveyance allowances;
• Festival bonus, income tax paid by icddr,b and subsidized canteen; Transport and daycare facilities are subject to space availability.
